Royce Hood

Royce Hood holds a Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University in West Palm Beach, Florida. His journey into the pro-life movement began during his time at Ave Maria School of Law, where he studied the moral foundations of law and natural law at the Holy See. He became deeply involved in the Lex Vitae Society, the law school’s pro-life group, eventually serving as its president. One of Royce's significant contributions was the creation and production of Vitae Fest, an event that combined food, music, and community engagement to raise funds for the pro-life cause. His efforts enabled over 50 students to attend the annual March for Life, demonstrating his ability to mobilize resources and inspire action.

Royce has a proven track record of organizing and hosting numerous pro-life events, inviting prominent leaders from various pro-life organizations. Notable figures such as Kristan Hawkins from Students for Life, Bobby Schindler, John-Henry Westen from Life Site News, and David Bereit from 40 Days for Life have participated in these events, highlighting Royce's extensive network and influence within the pro-life community.

In addition to his advocacy work, Royce has launched several businesses and apostolates, including The Law of Life Summit, which has grown into one of the most respected pro-life conferences in the country, attracting attorneys, law students, and pro-life leaders to Washington, D.C. annually.

Before joining Action for Life, Royce served as special counsel for the Thomas More Society and played a crucial role in drafting policies and procedures for the March for Life's national and international expansion. His legal expertise and leadership skills were further honed at Immaculata Law Firm in Chicago, where he successfully closed over $75 million in financing transactions for Catholic diocesan and institutional organizations.

Royce's commitment to faith and family has been the guiding principle throughout his career. He is an innovative leader, problem solver, and public speaker, speaking on topics ranging from law, media, public policy, and faith. Royce, his wife Elise, and their seven children reside in Naples.
